Fall is in the air! It's been a great week on campus; I love getting to see these happy learners enjoying the wonderful weather. A highlight of this week for our students was seeing the culmination of all their hard work on the beautiful Kid Art pieces that will be auctioned off at tomorrow night's Lakewoodstock Fundraiser!

Thanks to all the parents and LECPTA and PTA members who help keep this feeder pattern thriving!

WHAT: Pick Up Family Activation Packs, Candlelight Tour Wristbands, Home Tour Guidebooks
WHERE: Lakewood Elementary Sport Court (back of school)
WHEN: Thursday, Nov 11 from 2:30 - 4 p.m. OR Friday, Nov 12 from 7:30 - 8:15 a.m.

If you can’t make it to Lakewood Elementary - you can pick up your purchases at the six tour homes on Saturday, Nov 13 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. OR during the Candlelight Tour from 6 - 9 p.m.

IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN THE FUN!

Guidebooks, Family Activation Packs and Candlelight wristbands will also be available for purchase at the houses on Saturday. See you there!

*Please please do not lose your wristbands - these are your proof of purchase and must be worn to participate in Activations and Candlelight Tour.

LAKEWOOD LOVE

It's time to show your Lakewood Love! For every $100 donated to Lakewood Love, you will receive an entry into this year’s raffle package! Sponsored by Melissa M. Burns, Attorney, one lucky donor will receive a year-long NorthPark Gold Valet Pass, valued at $1,500 (NorthPark has five valet drop-off locations, and guests can leave their car at one location and pick up from another, using an easy, ticketless system via mobile phone), and $500 in NorthPark Gold.

Drawing will take place on Sunday November 14th at noon.

PIES for our TEACHERS & STAFF!

We are so THANKFUL for our wonderful teachers and staff! Let's show them our appreciation by sending each teacher home with a yummy pie for their Thanksgiving Break!

This year, the pies need to be store-bought please.

2 options for drop off pies:

Thursday afternoon (November 18, 2021) after 2:00pm on the porch of 6850 Avalon. There will be a cooler to put them in.
Before School Friday, November 19, 2021. 7:30-7:45 am

Volunteers will be collecting from the carpool line or you may drop them off at the table at the front of the school.

While this "Welcome to Woodrow" event has been primarily geared towards rising 9th graders, the school understands many families are exploring high school options much earlier. The format is designed to be like a college-visit with tours, performances, and coaches tables. Please come with your kids if you're interested in seeing the school!
