This morning was a FUN one! We welcomed Woodrow Wilson HS cheerleaders and drumline to help kick off ticket sales for LECPTA’s Auction Party, Lakewood Dreams. If you’ve never attended this event, you don’t want to miss it! Learn more below and help LECPTA raise critical funds for our neighborhood schools while you dance and dream the night away!

Fall temps are here, and Fall Fest is around the corner! The last day to preorder your Fall Fest shirts is tomorrow, so don’t delay! While you’re on the site, sign up for a volunteer shift (we need you!) and go ahead and get your wristbands. Then you’ll be set!

We need more than 100 volunteers to make Fall Fest happen! Please consider donating a couple hours of your time to help make this event a success. Volunteer opportunities are available for set-up, clean-up, games, and more. Please invite older siblings, middle school/high school kids, or share with your fellow volunteer groups. Sign up to lend a helping hand!

CAKE WALK DONATIONS

We’re excited to bring back our Cake Walk as a Fall Fest favorite. Please sign up to contribute to the festivities by donating a pre-packaged, store-bought dessert—think cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, or cookie cakes. Drop off your sweet treats on Friday, October 18 at school drop off or pick up.

What exactly is this party? Who is it for?

Every November, LECPTA puts on a themed, adult-only Auction Party to raise funds for neighborhood schools! Last year we proudly distributed a record-breaking $440,000, including $200,000 to Lakewood Elementary. LECPTA is an early childhood PTA. Any area family with children is welcome to attend.
