Hi Lakewood Families,

This weekend marks the most important fundraising weekend of the year for our community’s public schools, with the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA (LECPTA)’s 48th Annual Lakewood Home Tour and Auction Party, benefitting Lakewood Elementary, J.L. Long Middle School, Woodrow Wilson High School and other feeder pattern schools.

The auction in particular raises critical funds for our schools, and is open for bidding now to anyone, even if you are not attending the Lakewood Dreams auction party tomorrow.

Text LECPTA to 56651 to check out this year’s items and start bidding now!

New this year, grade-level Kid Art created by Lakewood students is available in the silent auction for anyone to bid. Visit ROAM Fine Goods today before 6:00 PM to preview these masterpieces that capture a beautiful moment in time for your student.

Also this weekend, the much-loved Lakewood Home Tour is Saturday and Sunday from 11:00AM-4:00PM. Don’t miss your chance to walk through these gorgeous homes!

Proceeds from the Lakewood Home Tour also directly benefit our feeder pattern schools. Get tickets here!

Thank you so much to all the volunteers and parents who have worked tirelessly to bring these events to life. I hope you enjoy the festivities!

All the best,

Caitlin

We are proud to honor Teddy Heape for his bravery and courage in his journey to fight medulloblastoma. This Lakewood kindergartener had brain surgery in December 2023, radiation in the spring of 2024, and recently completed chemotherapy a few weeks ago. He has 2 brothers that attend Lakewood - Henry in third grade, and twin brother George in kindergarten. His family has been a true inspiration and we are glad to support their fight!

On Friday, November 15th, please wear a blue shirt or a Team Teddy shirt to show our support as a whole school.

Get ready for a night of family fun at our upcoming Movie Night featuring the highly anticipated "Inside Out 2"!

Join us on November 15th at 6:00 PM for pizza, snacks, and popcorn before the movie begins at 6:30 PM. Thank you to our sponsor Skylar Champion Real Estate Group!
