Dear Lakewood Families,

As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible sense of community that makes Lakewood Elementary such a special place.  I am deeply thankful for our amazing students, whose curiosity, kindness, and dedication inspire us every day. Watching them learn, grow, and support one another reminds us of why we do what we do.

To our families and volunteers, your devoted support and involvement are truly the heartbeat of our school. Whether you’re organizing events, volunteering in classrooms, or cheering on our students, your contributions make a lasting impact. The collaboration and generosity of our community enrich the educational experience for every child, and our work would not be possible without you.

I’d also like to recognize our outstanding teachers and staff, who pour their hearts into creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Their passion, hard work, and commitment to our students’ success are unmatched. They are the foundation of our “One Team, One Dream” vision, and I could not be prouder to work alongside such a talented and dedicated team.

This season reminds us of how fortunate we are to be part of this incredible community. Your support, generosity, and belief in our school mean everything. Together, we are not just building a school but shaping a brighter future for our children.

On behalf of all of us at Lakewood Elementary, I wish you and your families a safe, joyful, and restful Thanksgiving holiday.

With gratitude,

Stallion Strong

Student Council is Sponsoring a Toy Drive!

Please note that all non pre-order items will be delivered within 2 weeks to your child’s classroom.  If you prefer porch pickup, please select that from the drop down menu when ordering.  If you have not received your order in this time or have an inquiry, contact spiritstore@lakewoodelementary.net.  Thank you!

Our Lakewood Counselors are excited to announce our Holiday Angel Program, where you have the opportunity to become a sponsor and bring joy to a child this holiday season. By purchasing gifts from a child's wish list, you can make a meaningful difference in their life.

If you would like to volunteer and become a sponsor, please scan the QR code and complete the form by Friday, November 22. Once you have signed up to sponsor an angel, you will receive an email containing information regarding your angel's wishes, how gifts should be packaged, and when and where to drop off the gifts.

Thank you for considering being a part of this wonderful initiative. Your generosity and kindness will make a significant impact on a child's holiday experience.

This November, we are proud to celebrate Native American Heritage Month. We have a bulletin board at school featuring Native American Changemakers.  In the classrooms, through engaging activities, stories, and lessons, we aim to foster understanding, respect, and appreciation for the diverse heritage that shapes our nation. Here is a few resources that can help to expand our Stallions knowledge:
